Campaign In Bogor, Anies Baswedan Alexis's Story Can Be Closed Enough With A Paper Sheet

BOGOR - Presidential Candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan told about the policy of closing Alexis entertainment venues while campaigning at the Satria Sports Hall, Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, today. In front of thousands of supporters, Anies admitted that when he first served as governor of DKI Jakarta, he could easily close the entertainment venue. Anies said that at that time the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government closed the entertainment venue because it was often demonstrated by the public, especially from religious circles. "That's called a demonstration, dozens of times, demonstrations again, demonstrations again, what for? It's closed. What's going on? It can't be closed, the demonstrations are dozens of times, hundreds of people, (but still) just keep going is a place of immorality," Anies said as quoted by Antara. Then, continued Anies, after he became governor of DKI Jakarta, Alexis could be immediately closed with just a piece of paper through the provincial government policy he was leading at that time. "Then what happened? (Year) 2017 there was a change of governor. Then, Alexis was covered with a piece of paper and signature. There was no need to demo hundreds of people, no need to use banners; just use signatures," said Anies. Anies considers the story as one of his achievements in leading by bringing the spirit of change. He also conveyed a number of ideas of change with his vision, namely changing people's lives for the better, from cheap food to affordable housing. "So, why do you need to be here together? Because we want to bring justice to achieve a change that is distributed constitutionally. It's time (to vote on) February 14, 2024," said Anies Baswedan. The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates as participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
