In the aftermath of an ecstasy case, the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP sealed and closed the business license for the Kloud Sky Dining & Lounge cafe, Senopati, South Jakarta (Jaksel).

Head of DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, Arifin, said that this closure was a follow-up to the findings of drugs carried out by the Directorate of Narcotics, Bareskrim Polri.

On that basis, the business licensing was revoked by the One Stop Integrated Service Investment Service (PMPTSP) so that it was recommended for sealing.

"The Satpol PP also received a letter of recommendation from the Tourism and Creative Economy Office to immediately close the place of business," said Arifin, Tuesday, November 28.

Arifin also explained that the closure of the Kloud Sky Dining & Lounge cafe had referred to the provisions of Pergub Number 18 of 2018 concerning tourism businesses if one of the three types of drugs were found in a place of business, then the consequence was closure.

"If one of the three types is found on the spot, the business can be closed. Now, drugs are found, so the action is strictly closed today," he said.

According to Arifin, whether it is permanently closed or not, it is not his authority. Because Satpol PP is only carrying out its duties to close, not revoke permits.

"Of course, the permit is revoked by the permit. If the permit is revoked, we will permanently close it," he concluded.
