YOGYAKARTA The presidential candidate who runs for the 2024 presidential election chose different campaign locations. As is known, the campaign schedule for the first day of the 2024 presidential candidates starts today, Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Each presidential candidate, namely Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, and Ganjar Pranowo, chose a different location.

The first day of the campaign agenda for presidential and vice-presidential candidates is visiting several regions in Indonesia. Visits are carried out both individually and in groups. The following is a list of locations visited by each presidential candidate.

2. Location of Anies Baswedan's First Day Campaign

The candidate pair (paslon) with serial number 1, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, conducted a separate 2024 presidential election campaign. A number of areas that Anies visited on the first day of the campaign were Jakarta. The locations that Anies visited were Tanah Merah Village in North Jakarta and Ciracas, East Jakarta. In addition, he will visit Bogor and Bandung in West Java.

Anies had a reason why he chose Tanah Merah as the first location he visited, namely because he wanted to bring a message of justice to the national level.

Meanwhile, the location of Muhaimin Iskandar's first campaign, aka Cak Imin, is Jombang, East Java. At that location, Cak Imin planned to visit his mother's house as well as ask permission. After Jombang, Cak Imin plans to conduct a campaign in other areas of East Java Province, one of which is Surabaya. Anies and Cak Imin deliberately separated so that the campaign range was wider.

It should be noted that currently Cak Imin has taken leave as the leader of the DPR before finally his leave period expires on December 13.

2. Prabowo Subianto's First Day Campaign Location

Paslon number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakambing will start their first campaign separately, Prabowo visits the Jabodetabek area while Gibran will open campaigns at locations in the area.

Even though it was the first day of the presidential election campaign, Defense Minister Prabowo continued to work at the Ministry of Defense's office as usual. He is scheduled to attend an internal meeting with President Joko Widodo in Bogor on Tuesday afternoon.

The vice presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka also did the same thing who chose not to take leave on the first day of the campaign.

3. Campaign Location Day One Ganjar Pranowo

The candidate pair numbered 3 Gajar Pranowo-Mahfud MD has a unique strategy regarding location selection. The two of them will carry out separate campaigns but from the end of Indonesia to close and meet in the middle, namely DKI Jakarta.

Ganjar Pranowo will campaign in Papua, while Mahfud MD in Aceh. According to Ganjar, his party will indeed start from the East and West regions to the middle of Indonesia.
