JAKARTA - Principal of SDN 10 Malaka Jaya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Junawati was summoned by the Inspectorate of DKI Jakarta Province regarding the reduction in honorary teacher wages of Rp. 300 thousand per month.

Junawati when met at SDN 10 Malaka Jaya, admitted that she was being awaited by the Inspectorate. However, he was reluctant to explain the summons.

"I am waiting for the inspectorate," said Junawati, Tuesday, November 28.

The woman in the veil was seen entering a black Honda CRV in the middle seat along with an honorary teacher whose salary was allegedly cut with the initials A.

Junawati was also reluctant to comment further on the alleged cut in her school honorary teacher's salary. Instead, he also avoided being interviewed and instead said the same thing.

"Yes, I'm sorry, I'm waiting for the inspectorate," he said many times.

Meanwhile, one of the teachers with the initials IS said that at 09.00 WIB, the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono had met with the principal in the teacher's room behind closed doors.

"I don't know what to say, because when the governor arrived, I was teaching and learning activities (KBM). Many of the governor's staff were out of the room," said IS.

Previously, the Acting (Plt) of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Purwosusilo, said that his party was following up on reports of cutting salaries of honorary teachers in public schools.

In its handling, Disdik DKI summoned the principal of SD Negeri Malaka Jaya 10, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta. One of the Christian religious teachers there only gets a salary of Rp. 300 thousand per month. In fact, the teacher signed an honorarium of around Rp. 9 million per month.

"Today we are following up on it by summoning the principal and his staff, including the treasurer as well. They have been summoned previously by the elementary school sector," Purwosusilo told reporters, Monday, November 27.

Purwosusilo said that the principal of SDN Malaka Jaya 10 will be asked for information regarding reports on the distribution of honorary teacher salaries that are not appropriate to be recorded in the investigation report (BAP).

However, Purwosusilo has not confirmed whether any sanctions will be imposed on the principal.
