The white waste business is seen filling the river in Cimanggis, Depok. Quoted from Instagram @depok24jam, it can be seen that the foam closed the river located in front of the Taman Duta housing complex, Cimanggis on Monday 27 November.

The minimal amount of waste that looks like clouds has become a spectacle for local residents.

As is known, there are several factories operating in the area around Cimanggis. So far, it is not known where the foam came from and the type of waste that polluted the river in Cimanggis.

A number of residents complained about piles of foam covering the river in Tugu Village, Cimanggis District, Depok. In addition, residents also cough and itching.

The height of the foam, which reaches 4 meters, has resulted in a number of residents' houses being closed. It is not certain where the white foam suspected to be used as waste came from.

"Residents complain that steam causes cough and itching when it hits the skin. We have reported it to the kelurahan," said the head of RW 01, Lili Ramli.

Several netizens expressed concern over the pollution.

"The point is, ladies and gentlemen, whatever is thrown into the river / river there is no justification," said @andreashanada.

"This kind of thing should be overcome before the factory operates.. from the IPAL license etc," added @rengginangkemaren.

So far, the Depok City Government has not provided a response and handling of the origin of the waste.
