MA Secretary Hasbi Hasan Didakwa Receives Bribe Of IDR 11.2 Billion And Gratification Of IDR 630 Million

JAKARTA - Secretary of the inactive Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan will soon be tried at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN). The indictment file has been transferred by the prosecutor today.

"The prosecutor's team charged two charges at once, namely the receipt of bribes of Rp. 11.2 billion related to case management at the Supreme Court and also the indictment of receiving gratuities of Rp. 630 million for stay facilities and tourist trips," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, November 27.

Ali explained that the description of the acceptance would be read out in the first trial. "We make sure the trial will be conducted openly and invite the public to follow the entire process of proving the case in question," he said.

As previously reported, Hasbi became a suspect because he allegedly received money guarding the appeal of the management of the Inti Dana Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP), Budiman Gandi Suparman. The receipt was made through the former Commissioner of PT Wika Beton, Dadan Tri Yudianto.

This case began when the Debtor of the Intidana Heryanto Tanaka Savings and Loans Cooperative contacted Dadan Tri Yudianto. He asked Budiman to be found guilty in the cassation lawsuit and Dadan agreed on the condition that money was given.

Furthermore, Heryanto and Dadan discussed the arrangement of this cassation lawsuit at Theodorus Yosep Parera's office, which is a lawyer. Dadan at that time called Hasbi Hasan.

Finally, there was a handover of money until Heryanto won the cassation lawsuit. Budiman was found guilty and sentenced to 5 years in prison.
