PPATK Calls The Value Of Online Judi Transactions For 6 Years Reaching IDR 500 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) said the value of online gambling transactions was fantastic.

"From the results of the PPATK analysis of financial transactions related to online gambling, the total nominal transactions analyzed since 2017 until now are more than Rp500 trillion," said PPATK Public Relations Substance Group Coordinator, M Natsir Kongah, in his statement, Saturday, November 25.

In fact, only in the period 2022 to 2023, 3,295,310 people were involved in online gambling.

"The turnover of these funds includes betting money, winning payments, gambling implementation costs, inter-city transfers, and transactions suspected of being money laundering by the dealer network," he said.
