Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan stated that the construction of the Cipanas tourist route on Jalan Ibrahim Adjie, Tarogong Kaler District is targeted for completion and can be crossed by various types of motorized vehicles before the New Year holiday. "Yes (before the new year) has been completed," said Rudy Gunawan, in Garut, West Java, Antara, Monday, November 21. The Garut Regency Government has gradually built Ibrahim Adjie Street as a 6 km long tourist route connecting Jalan Raya Bandung-Garut or the Sigobing area with Jalan Raya Samararang. The road construction, he said, was in the outline that the road infrastructure development stage was almost complete, even now some roads have been crossed by vehicles from Jalan Samarang to Jalan Cipanas Baru. However, road conditions have not been able to connect directly to the Sigobing area, because there are about 400 meters that have not been completed. The road is currently being completed with an allocated budget of IDR 4 billion. "There are only 400 meters left, on 28 (November 2023) we will inaugurate it," he said again. The road construction target, said the Regent, means that before the New Year's holiday season, Jalan Ibrahim Adjie can be fully used, starting from Jalan Raya Bandung-Garut to Jalan Raya Samararang. The stages of road construction, he said, were carried out in collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Center because the road construction site was located around the foot area of Mount Guntur. With this cooperation, he said again, the Ibrahim Adjie Road can be completed and will provide many benefits for the community, including to support the tourism sector. "The people of Garut now have a good way to go," he also said. He added, in addition to the Cipanas Garut route, repairs and road construction in a number of areas in Garut are also targeted to be completed by the end of the year. He mentioned a number of roads that are being repaired, namely Jalan Raya Samarang, then several points in the southern region of Garut and other tourist routes, such as heading to the tourist areas of Talaga Bodas and Gunung Papandayan.

"For several roads such as roads in Banyuresmi (Bagendit tourist routes) have been completed," he said again.
