JAKARTA - Chairman of the Election Winning Body of the United Development Party (PPP) Sandiaga Uno inflamed the 2024 General Election which was cheerful and peaceful for the community.

"We know that the people today want a cheerful election and a proud presidential election. We from PPP will work with volunteers and coalition parties to make it happen," Sandi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.

According to him, elections that are cheerful and peaceful for society can accelerate economic growth and people's welfare.

Currently, people are smart in determining their choices in the 2024 General Election so that there will be no more divisions ahead of the democratic party.

"I believe the public is smart, so what I convey is how economic opportunities will be good under the leadership of Pak Ganjar and Pak Mahfud," he said.

Sandiaga hopes that with differences in political views, unity must still be prioritized in order to accelerate economic development.

"Different political choices can occur at any time, but in differences, we increase unity. We also cannot be divided just because of the five-year cycle," he asserted.

The KPU on November 14, 2023, appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates to participate in the 2024 General Election.

Participants in the 2024 General Election are the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
