Cable Semrawut In Front Of Thamrin City Burns, Two Firefighters Deployed

JAKARTA - The chaotic cable on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, in front of Thamarin City, Central Jakarta, caught fire. Two DKI Jakarta firefighters were deployed.

Based on VOI.ID monitoring at the location at 18.22 WIB, two units of DKI Jakarta extinguishing vehicles (Damkar) were seen and dozens of officers were deployed. They immediately divided the tasks to extinguish the fire.

There was a small explosion that came out of the burning cable. After taking 10 minutes, the fire was extinguished.

However, the aftermath of the chaotic cable fire caused a long traffic jam from West Jakarta to Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Thus, local residents who were at the location directed past Jalan Kebon Kacang 41, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

A local resident, Rodikin, said that from the pole containing the chaotic cable, it suddenly caught fire. Then he emitted explosions so that he immediately arranged vehicles passing by so as not to pass through the road.

"The cable was suddenly caught on fire, short circuit. The fire broke out quickly so that the fire was extinguished," said Rodikin at the scene on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
