JAKARTA - An interesting moment occurred ahead of the General Election Commission carrying out the draw for the serial number of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election.

Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo was seen approaching the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The moment occurred when the presidential and vice presidential candidates were waiting for the serial number draw process in one of the KPU Building rooms, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 14.

In the video circulating, Ganjar, wearing a black shirt, appears to be standing over Anies and Muhaimin sitting next to his desk. He originally sat at the same table with his wife and vice presidential candidate Mahfud MD and his wife.

He seemed to greet and talk and joked with Anies and Muhaimin.

Shortly after, Ganjar also seemed to be approaching Prabowo and Gibran. He also seemed to say hello and chat with the couple.

It is not known what the conversation was during the moment when Ganjar approached Anies-Muhamin and Prabowo-Gibran. However, the cool atmosphere was seen during the moment.

In the same video, Ganjar is also seen greeting a number of politicians and several winning volunteers in the room.

It is known that the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair or AMIN got number one, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka got number two, and Ganjar-Mahfud MD got number three in the 2024 presidential election.

The AMIN pair is supported by NasDem political parties, PKB and PKS. Ganjar-Mahfud is supported by the PDI-P (PDIP) political parties, the United Development Party (PPP), the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo), and the Hanura Party.

Meanwhile, Prabowo-Gibran was promoted or supported by the Greater Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), the Golkar Party (Golkar), the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Democratic Party, the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Indonesian People's Wave Party (Gelora), the Garda Party of the Republic of Indonesia (Garuda), and the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).
