The KPU conducted a draw on the serial numbers of presidential and vice-presidential candidates participating in the 2024 presidential election. The pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar received serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3. The draw/determination of the serial number of presidential and vice-presidential candidates was held in an open plenary meeting at the KPU office, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 14. The draw mechanism is divided into two stages. Taking queue numbers to take serial numbers is carried out by the vice president. The vice presidential candidate who takes the first sequence number is the one who registers first to the KPU. Furthermore, the candidate pair number is taken by the presidential candidate. The Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) pair is supported by NasDem, PKB and PKS political parties. Ganjar-Mahfud is supported by the PDI-P political parties (PDIP), the United Development Party (PPP), the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo), and the Hanura Party.
