Kemendikbudristek Appoint Unand To Be The Coordinator Of CASN For The West Sumatra Region

SUMBAR - The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) appointed Andalas University (Unand) West Sumatra (West Sumatra) as the coordinator of the 2023 state civil apparatus candidate selection (CASN) for the West Sumatra region.

"In addition to involving six educational institutions, the mass media is also involved to help oversee and succeed CASN 2023," said Middle Expert Planner of the Planning and Organization Bureau of the State Civil Service Agency Achmad Yusaq in Padang, Monday, November 13, as reported by Antara.

The six combined institutions for the implementation of CASN in the West Sumatra region, namely Unand, Padang State University, Padang Panjang Indonesian Art Institute (ISI), Padang State Polytechnic, Payakumbuh State Agriculture Polytechnic, and LLDikti Region X.

Especially at Unand, the CASN exam was carried out at three points, namely the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Economics and Business. Especially at the Faculty of Economics and Business, the general public is not allowed to enter considering the teaching and learning process.

"Only CASN test participants can enter. However, the results of the examination can be monitored at the Faculty of Medicine, including through the YouTube channel that has been prepared," he said.

He said the State Civil Service Agency together with the CASN implementing committee ensured that each stage was transparent. Starting from registration, selection to appointment can be monitored openly and in real time.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chancellor III Unand for Human Resources and Information Technology, Insannul Kamil said the CASN selection was carried out for three days from 13 to 15 November 2023.

Especially at Unand, CASN's basic competency selection exam (SKD) was attended by 3,374 participants. The details are SKD CPNS totaling 2,881 people, SKD PPPK 195 health workers, and PPPK technical 298 people.

He said that during the CASN selection, Unand had coordinated with the local state electricity company (PLN) to ensure that supply or electricity was well maintained.

"In the last week, Unand has prepared various things such as computers, internet networks, systems to coordinate with PLN to guarantee electricity during the exam," he said.
