"The object caught fire at the Omni Hospital freight elevator. The cause of the fire was the welding of goods elevators on the 5th floor," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed, Sunday, November 12, evening.
For the extinguishing process, Gulkarmat officers deployed 44 firefighters to extinguish the fire.
"Initially the incident was discovered by a nurse on the 3rd floor who saw smoke from the 6th floor to the 3rd floor. It is suspected that the source of the fire came from the welding of the freight elevator on the 5th floor," he said.
