NATUNA - Natuna District Attorney (Kejari) Natuna Riau Islands has named the former President Director (Managing Director) of the Natuna Regional Company (Perusda) for the 2018-2020 period as a suspect in alleged corruption.
The decision was conveyed by the Head of the Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) Natuna Surayadi Sembiring accompanied by the Head of the Intelligence Section (Kasintel) Maiman Limbong and the Head of the Special Crimes Section (Kasipidsus) Denny.
Surayadi said the former President Director of Perusda was suspected of abusing Perusda's financial management of Rp419,318,511.00.
"The suspect has the initials RL aged 58 years," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 8.
He explained that RL was named a suspect based on the letter of determination of the suspect number print-01/L.10.13.4/Fd.1/07/2023 dated July 31, 2023.
The determination, he said, was after they received 151 copies of evidence in the form of documents related to the alleged corruption committed by RL.
Currently, the suspect is in detention center 1 Tanjungpinang for the sake of prosecuting the trial.
