Khofifah Claims To Raise Prabowo-Gibran's Voice In East Java, Yenny Wahid: We Compete Healthyly

JAKARTA - The Advisory Board for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud MD, Yenny Wahid is ready to compete with the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa who is claimed to be garnering votes for the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair. He will take advantage of his network.

"I am also from East Java, there are still many acquaintances," Yenny told reporters at the High End building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.

He admitted that he was not afraid to compete with Khofifah to earn votes for the Ganjar-Mahfud pair. However, Yenny reminded that competition must be done in a healthy way

"Yes, we will compete in a healthy manner for a better democracy for Indonesia. That's all," he said.

Moreover, this competition is believed to be better for Indonesia in the future. "You can't be afraid to compete," said the son of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia Abdurrachman Wahid.

"As long as this competition is healthy we have to move on. And we do it with our hearts. Our struggle is always based on our hearts, conscience," continued Yenny.

As previously reported, Khofifah was introduced by the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, as a winning team for the East Java region. He will work with former East Java Governor Soekarwo alias Pakde Karwo.

This moment occurred during the 59th Anniversary of Golkar. Airlangga greeted the figures present, including President Jokowi, Prabowo Subianto and representatives of the political parties of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) who were present.

"Pak Ridwan Kamil is responsible for winning West Java," said Airlangga greeting RK, Monday, November 6.

"Then for East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa's mother, accompanied by Pakde Karwo. So if there are two attackers, tandem, it looks like in East Java we won Pak Prabowo," said Airlangga.

Also present were Paulus Waterpauw, the former Kapolda who served as Acting Governor of West Papua. He is said to be part of the Maluku-Papua winning team.
