Jokowi Alludes To Politics Many Dramas, Golkar: No Need To 'Baper'

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Ace Hasan Syadzily responded to President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) speech which mentioned too many dramas in today's politics.

Ace assessed that Jokowi's words did not need to be carried with feelings or baper by guessing to offend certain parties. "I don't think we need to bring feelings and we suspect what President Jokowi said," said Ace at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 7. According to Ace, what President Jokowi said was a moral appeal from the head of state so that the 2024 election should put forward ideas. "We must put forward our thoughts in the context of the 2024 presidential election later. So yes, what President Jokowi said was of Golkar is certainly a very positive view, because we want that this presidential competition is a competition that is built based on rational views," said Ace.

The chairman of the West Java Golkar DPD said that the public could judge what was conveyed by President Jokowi.

"Of course, if we bring feelings, what will arise is prolonged heartache, so that even after the presidential election, one party and another are still arguing and conflicting. That's what is avoided," he concluded.
