JAKARTA - The Golkar Party held the peak event of celebrating the 59th Anniversary at the Golkar Party DPP office in Slipi, West Jakarta, Monday, November 6, evening. In the event, Golkar also invited President Joko Widodo as well as the prospective presidential and vice presidential candidate of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. "Yes, as the head of the 59th Anniversary of the Golkar Party, we have invited the president of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Engineer Joko Widodo, also invited Mr. Prabowo and also Mr. Gibran and the leaders of political parties who are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition," said the chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Ace Hasan Syadzily to reporters, Monday, November 6. However, Ace has not been able to confirm Gibran's presence at the anniversary of the Golkar Party who also invited the entire general chairman of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition. According to him, Golkar is still waiting for confirmation of the Mayor of Solo in the midst of the issue of being 'generated', aka joining into a banyan cadre. "Of course, until now we are still confirming the presence of the presidents and vice presidential candidates that we hold, including the head of KIM," said Ace. He emphasized that his party has fully handed over to Gibran regarding his political steps after not being a PDIP Party cadre. "What is clear is that the Golkar party is the party that proposed and promoted Mas Gibran as vice presidential candidate through the results of the 2023 rapidmnas II," he continued.
