MAGELANG - Magelang Police, Central Java revealed the perpetrators of money theft by blocking automated teller machines (ATMs).

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Magelang Police, AKP Hadi Handoko said the two suspects, namely HE (41), a resident of Grabag Village, Grabag District, Magelang Regency and Hospital (24), a resident of Way Urang Village, Kalianda District, South Lampung Regency.

The suspect took action in West and Central Java. The suspect was arrested while waiting for HE's wife to give birth at the Tidar Hospital, Magelang City.

They last took action on Saturday, January 16 at BRI Tempuran ATM, Magelang Regency with the victim Maskuri (53), a resident of Sidoagung Village, Tempuran District, Magelang Regency, who suffered a cash loss of IDR 21.4 million.

Hadi said that in 2019, they took action about 10 times in Bandung, West Java, then in 2020 they acted in Semarang and in 2021 they acted in Magelang.
