The Figure Of The Suspect In The Alleged SYL Extortion Case Will Be Determined After Firli Bahuri's Examination

The figure of the suspect in the alleged extortion case by the KPK leadership against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL, will soon be determined. This is because the Polda Metro Jaya will soon conduct a case title. "That the case for determining the suspect that we have scheduled will be carried out," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, to reporters, Friday, November 3. However, it was not detailed about the timing of the case title process. It was only conveyed that the mechanism for determining the suspect was carried out after the examination process was completed or on November 7. That way it can be interpreted that the case title mechanism will be carried out after Firli Bahuri is examined. "We are waiting after an additional examination is carried out on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, later we will update it to media colleagues for follow-up steps to the next investigation," he said. "We will update it again later, to determine who the suspect is in the alleged corruption crime which we are currently investigating," continued Ade. Firli Bahuri is scheduled to undergo additional examination as a witness at Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday, November 7.

In the summons that has been sent, the examination process for Firli Bahuri is planned to start at around 10.00 WIB. "An additional examination of witness FB as chairman of the Indonesian KPK has been sent a summons on November 2, 2023 for the examination schedule on Tuesday, November 7, 2023," said Ade.
