JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri denied holding a meeting with former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) at his home located on Jalan Kartanegara number 46, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.
"Nothing, nothing," said Firli when met by the media crew after attending the badminton tournament match of the Army Chief of Staff Cup 2023 at Gelora Bung Karno Arena, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 29.
Firli said the house in Kertanegara was only used to rest when he was active in Jakarta.
"It's just a place to rest if I'm active in Jakarta," said Firli, quoted by Antara.
Firli is currently in the spotlight because of the alleged extortion case against a suspect in a corruption case within the Ministry of Agriculture by SYL.
Previously, investigators from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the Metro Jaya Police on Thursday (26/10) conducted searches in two houses belonging to KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri.
