Volunteers Withdraw From PDIP, Code Bobby Nasution Supports Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA Although it has not clearly stated support for one of the candidate pairs, the resignation of volunteer Bobby Nasution from the PDI-P is considered as an illustration of the support of President Joko Widodo's son-in-law in the 2024 presidential election.

USU political observer Indra Fauzan stated that the volunteer's attitude could be said to be a picture of Bobby's upright attitude towards Jokowi. Moreover, the volunteer figures who resigned, namely Hasanul Jihadi and Muhammad Fadli Nasution, were the main actors of the Bobby Nasution volunteers.

"So from political communication, it is also very clear the attitude of the main figures of the volunteers, Mr. Bobby Nasution, besides that, we can also see the track records of these two politicians, they have always been the main actors in political politics in winning and political movements of the Bobby Nasution volunteers," said Indra, Sunday, October 29.

According to him, until now Bobby has not stated his stance firmly to support his brother-in-law, Gibran or support the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md pair promoted by PDIP, because they are still listed as PDIP cadres.

However, still maintaining political ethics as a PDIP cadre, Bobby is considered to have thrown a code to support Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election.

"So Bobby has conveyed the signals or codes. Now how do people judge it, the picture is clearly a precautionary position in throwing statements, of course it is still put forward to maintain polite political ethics," concluded Indra Fauzan.
