Trapped In Gambling Debt, Youth In Gresik Hangs Himself In Cow's Cage

A young man on Bawean Island, Gresik Regency was desperate to end his life by tying his neck in a cow's cage on Thursday. The victim named Sulaiman was desperate to commit suicide due to economic factors. The 22-year-old youth body from Dusun East Sumari, Suwari Village, Sangkapura District was first discovered by his twin brother Sulaimi and uncle named Suadidi. Sulaiman's body was immediately evacuated from inside the cow's cage. When found, the victim was already lifeless wearing short pants and a black short-sleeved t-shirt. Sangkapura Police Chief Iptu Anas Tohari said that witness Suaidi was originally about to go to his cow's cage which happened to be close to the victim's cow's cage. It has not yet arrived at the cow's cage, which is still 15 meters away, the witness saw the victim was hanging in his cow's cage. There was no strange activity before the victim ended his life by hanging himself. However, at around 03.00 WIB the victim sent a voice message via Whatsapp to his sister and apologized. "Depression allegations due to the economy of many gambling debts. The victim is still young," he said, Friday, October 27.

Meanwhile, the results of the examination carried out by the Criminal Investigation Unit together with the Babinsa suspect and the doctor from the Sangkapura Health Center, there were no signs of violence and only snares were found on the neck. "There has been a statement from the family that there was no autopsy and was immediately buried but waiting for his mother in Java.
