Rochmad Bagus Apriyana alias Roy, accused of the murder of a student at the University of Surabaya (Ubaya) Angeline Natalia, was charged with premeditated murder. Prosecutors said the defendant deliberately killed the victim out of heartache.

"The defendant Rochmad Bagus committed an act of murder because he was hurt by the victim, after insulting the defendant's child who made the defendant emotional. So that the murder of the victim occurred," said Public Prosecutor (JPU), Suparlan, in a trial indictment at the Surabaya District Court (PN), Thursday, October 26.

His nicknames said that the defendant Roy killed Angeline's victim by slamming the victim. Then the defendant strangled the victim's neck with a rope to death. Even the defendant again smothered the victim's face with a pillow, to ensure the victim had died.

"Then the defendant took a suitcase from his father-in-law's house and put the victim's body in a suitcase. The defendant also wrapped the body with a warp bubble so that the victim's foul smell was not smelled," he said.

After that, the defendant Roy asked his brother-in-law for help to take him to the Mojokerto Regency sugar area, using the victim's car. Arriving at the location, the defendant asked to stop and then unload the suitcase containing the victim. "The defendant immediately dumped the suitcase which was in Cangar," he said.

After throwing away the suitcase, the defendant stopped and threw away some of the victim's belongings. In addition, the defendant threw away the rope used to ensnare the victim to death. "The defendant then pawned the victim's car for Rp. 25 million," he said.

The victim's body was found by the police and it is known that the body found in the ravine of Cangar is the victim. The autopsy results of the victim died due to running out of oxygen.

"From there the defendant was arrested by the police," he said.

After reading the indictment, Chief Judge I Ketut Kimiarsa told the defendant to accept the prosecutor's indictment. "Do you accept the indictment of the Public Prosecutor," said Ketut.

"I received and went directly to the testimony of the noble witness," replied the defendant Roy.
