BARITO - A viral video recording on social media (medsos), shows the disgraceful action of a high school student who challenges his teacher to a fight at school.

From the information obtained, the action of students against the fighting teacher recorded on the cellphone camera took place at a high school in Dusun Selatan District, South Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan (Central Kalimantan).

In this 37-second video, a male high school student wears a white-and-white uniform in a room covers his hand, while issuing words at his teacher inviting him to duel outdoors.

Although the teacher tried to calm his students and did not face challenges, this student reacted by removing his school uniform to duel.

Following up on the viral video, the Dusun Selatan Police together with the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the South Barito Police Satreskrim conducted an investigation and summoned the student along with the parents and the school for questioning.

South Hamlet Police Chief Iptu H Tonie said, after the mediation meeting, his party submitted all decisions taken regarding sanctions to students who had taken disgraceful actions to the school.

"Following up on the viral video circulating in the community, we have called the student accompanied by his parents, and for all decisions resulting from coordination with the school, regarding sanctions for violations will be submitted to the school, we only provide suggestions and opinions so that this viral video does not have an impact on the disruption of Kamtibmas," he explained, Wednesday, October 25.

Tonie also hopes that this case can be a lesson for other students and do not let this incident happen again in the future.

Meanwhile, the School chose to avoid journalists, and did not provide any explanation.
