JAKARTA - Super Club night entertainment warehouse, Tebet, South Jakarta caught fire. It is suspected that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.

Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) Picket Officer, Sukur Sarwono confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 25, at 05.20 WIB.

"That's right, the object caught fire in the Warehouse (W Super Club / Holly Wings Building)," said Sukur in his statement, Wednesday, October 25.

Sukur explained that the incident began when a bar employee witness, Abdul, was going to his warehouse to calculate the stock of goods. However, at that time there was no visible fire.

"Then it went down 25 minutes later. It went up again to the condition that the lights above the room had been extinguished and there was smoke," he said.

On that basis, another employee called to help extinguish the fire using a Light Fire Department (APAR).

"But the smoke started to get thick then, one of the employees (Noval) came to the nearest fire post to Sector I Tebet Post," he said.

Sukur explained that as many as 24 funerals and 88 personnel were deployed. As a result, the fire was successfully extinguished at 09.45 WIB.

"The approach is that the room is closed on the 2nd floor which is used as a warehouse so that thick smoke only surrounds the room," he said.

Sukur ensured that there were no casualties in the incident. However, the loss reached hundreds of millions of rupiah.
