Baintelkam Polri Issues SKCK Gibran Rakabuming Today

JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters issued a police statement (SKCK) on behalf of Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The letter was issued this morning. This is a prerequisite for registering prospective vice presidential candidates (cawapres).

"The SKCK on behalf of Gibran has been issued and signed by Mr. Kabik (Head of Intelligence and Security) this morning at 09.00 WIB," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Monday, October 23.

SKCK is one of the requirements that must be met by election participants, both candidates and vice presidential or vice presidential candidates during registration at the General Elections Commission (KPU).

Baintelkam Polri was originally scheduled to issue SKCK for other election participants, namely, Anies Baswedan, Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto, Mahfud MD, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, and Erick Thohir.

Gibran Rakabuming Raka has arrested the Vice Presidential Candidate, which is promoted by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) to accompany Prabowo Subianto.

The choice of Gibran Rakabuming Raka was said to be based on the results of the coordination of 8 political parties that are members of KIM.

"Recently, the Forward Indonesia Coalition consisting of 8 political parties, namely Golkar, PAN, Democrats, Gerindra, Gelora, PBB, Garuda and the prima attended by the respective ketum and the secretary general respectively we have held the final consensus, all agreed to carry Prabowo Subianto as KIM's presidential candidate for 2024-2029 and brother Gibran Rakabuming Raka as KIM's vice presidential candidate," said Prabowo in Kertanegara, Jakarta, Sunday, October 22.
