Golkar Invites President Jokowi And Chairman Of Political Parties KIM To Commemorate The 59th Anniversary

JAKARTA - The Chief Executive of the 59th Anniversary of the Golkar Party, Muhidin Said, said that his party invited President Joko Widodo and the general chairmen of political parties members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition at the peak of the anniversary commemoration on October 31, 2023.

"Mr. Presidentinsyaallah, we invite. Our entire coalition parties will invite to attend the peak of the anniversary of the Golkar Party," Muhidin said at a press conference at the Golkar Party DPP office, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 19.

Muhidin explained that the Golkar Anniversary series had started on October 3, 2023 with shalawatan activities led by Gus Miftah and attended by around 15 thousand people.

Golkar kemudian kembali menggelar salawatan yang juga dipimpin Gus Miftah pada 11 Oktober 2023.

The series of anniversary warnings will be continued with a pilgrimage to the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP) at around 08.00 WIB on Friday (20/10).

After the pilgrimage, the ranks of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Golkar Party throughout Indonesia will gather at the office of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Golkar Party, West Jakarta, for the joint Friday prayer.

The series of activities for the anniversary on Friday (20/10) will be continued with a cone or celebration at the Golkar Party DPP Office at 14.00 WIB and will continue with blood donation activities.

Furthermore, on Saturday (21/10), the Golkar Party will hold a national leadership meeting attended by all chairmen of the Golkar Party DPD throughout Indonesia

Meanwhile, the peak commemoration of the Golkar Party Anniversary will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the Golkar Party DPP Office.

On the same occasion, Head of the 59th Anniversary of Golkar Ace Hasan Syadzily said the Golkar Rapimnas would discuss preparations for the 2024 General Election, legislative elections, regional head elections and presidential elections.

"In this rapimnas, there will be various inputs and views regarding Golkar's winning strategy in facing the 2024 General Election," he said.

The Golkar Party is part of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition with the Gerindra Party, the Democratic Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Gelora Party and the Garuda Party.

The Forward Indonesia Coalition has stated that it will nominate Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate to face the 2024 presidential election.

However, until now the Forward Indonesia Coalition has yet to announce who the vice presidential candidate will be who will accompany Prabowo.
