JAKARTA - The Riau Islands Province COVID-19 Handling Task Force stated that the number of patients recovering from COVID-19 continues to increase.

Regional secretary of The Riau Island Tengku Said Arif Fadillah said the number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 was 38 people, bringing it to 7,797 people or 92.99 percent.

He detailed the number of patients who recovered in Batam as many as 27 people, Tanjung pinang 10 people, and Lingga one person.

Meanwhile, the total number of patients who have recovered since the COVID-19 pandemic until now in Batam has reached 5,457 people, Tanjung pinang 1,228 people, Bintan 510 people, Karimun 384 people, Lingga 35 people, Natuna 87 people, and Anambas Islands 96 people.
