JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo's Special Staff Coordinator, AAGN Ari Dwipayana, said that his party was still waiting for an official letter from Andi Widjajanto regarding the news of his resignation as Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas).

"Yes, we are still waiting for the official letter of resignation from Governor Lemhannas to the President," Ari said when contacted in Jakarta, Monday, October 16, which was confiscated by Antara.

Andi Widjajanto on Monday, October 16, announced his resignation from the position of Governor of Lemhannas after joining the structure of the Presidential Ganjar National Winning Team (TPNGP) in the 2024 Presidential Election.

The resignation, said Andi, must be done to maintain the neutrality of the Lemhannas institution. He will also focus more on working in the Presidential Ganjar National Winning Team (TPNGP) after resigning from Lemhannas.

"This morning I said goodbye to Lemhannas, leaving as Governor of Lemhannas," said Andi.

Andi Widjajanto on October 11, 2023, has been appointed as Deputy for Politics 5.0 for the National Winning Team (TPN) for the 2024 election presidential candidate from the PDI-P Ganjar Pranowo.

The position of Deputy for Politics 5.0 is the kitchen of the first team from TPN Ganjar. Andi received a direct assignment as Deputy for Politics 5.0 from the Chairman of TPN Ganjar Pranowo, Arsjad Rasjid.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also said that he had allowed Andi Widjajanto to be included in the Ganjar Pranowo TPN. It's just that, said the President, it is also necessary to look at the applicable rules, namely whether Andi should take leave or instead resign from the position of Governor of Lemhanas.

"Only what the rules are, later the Minister of State Secretary, whether it should be on leave, whether to resign, Mr. Minister of State Secretary. Technical, yes," said Jokowi on October 12, 2023.

Jokowi personally conveyed that he allowed Andi Widjajanto's steps to enter the TPN. "For me, I allow it," said Jokowi.
