The joint SAR team from the Jember Water Police Unit, TNI AL, Basarnas, BPBD and Brandal Alas SAR Volunteers carried out SAR activities on Tuesday (10/10) or the third day of searching for the fishing boat that had lost contact.

"Thank God, the joint SAR Team succeeded in finding the two missing fishermen stranded on Nusa Barong Island, Puger District, safe and sound," he added.

According to him, the joint SAR Team evacuated the victims to the Outer Island Task Force Marine Command Post on Nusa Barong Island to provide initial aid by the Nusa Barong Island Task Force Marine doctor.

"Today the Outer Island Task Force has succeeded in evacuating two fishermen to Pancer Beach, Puger District to be taken to the nearest community health center (puskesmas) for treatment," he said.
