Medan Police Have Arrested A Dealer Of 10.4 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine In Johor

MEDAN - Personnel from the Medan Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested a man who was a drug dealer of methamphetamine on Jalan Karya Jaya, Johor Village, Medan Johor District, Medan City, North Sumatra.

The police confiscated evidence of 10.4 kilograms (kg) of methamphetamine from the hands of the perpetrator with MD initials.

"The arrest of the suspect who brought methamphetamine-type narcotics on Jalan Karya Jaya, Medan, was on Thursday (5/10) afternoon," said Medan Police Narcotics Head AKBP John Hery Rakutta Sitepu, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 10.

John said the arrest of the suspect began when the police received information from the public about a man carrying methamphetamine-type narcotics on Jalan Karya Jaya, Medan.

Then, personnel went to the TKP to conduct an investigation and arrested the suspect who was known to be MD.

"After a search, the police found a large plastic package containing methamphetamine weighing 5 kg from the seat of a Yamaha N-Max BK 6859 ALC motorcycle," he said.

Kasat Narkoba said that further development and search were carried out at the suspect's house in Gang Eka Warni 1 Jalan Karya Jaya, Medan which was witnessed by the Head of the Environment.

The police again found and confiscated 5 large plastic packs containing methamphetamine weighing five kg, and 8 small plastic clips containing methamphetamine weighing 400 grams.

"In addition, 50 pink ecstasy pills with a net weight of 18 grams, two cellphones, one motorcycle and two digital scales," he said.

After the suspect was arrested by personnel, he was immediately taken to the Medan Polrestabes for further investigation.
