Bey Machmudin Will Trial Bandung-BIJB Kertajati Feeder Transport

Acting Governor of West Java Beyxi Machmudin will ensure the time needed during the Damri bus feeder transportation trip between Bandung and West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka Regency, West Java.

This was conveyed by Bey to ensure the readiness of accommodation for the community after all flights were transferred to BIJB Kertajati at the end of October 2023.

"Tomorrow (10/10), I will use Damri from Bandung to BIJB. I will try how long, all kinds of things," said Bey as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 9.

The test, said Bey, was carried out to ensure the readiness of BIJB Kertajati's supporting facilities, especially in measuring time through the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) toll road.

With the hope that in the trial, his party can pocket shortages or obstacles, so that they can be evaluated and fixed so that BIJB can operate optimally to serve the community.

"We want to know the shortcomings of all kinds. Distance, traffic jams are everywhere," he said.

Asked about BIJB's future use to serve activities, during the U-17 World Cup, Bey admitted that this would be conditional, according to his needs.

"Here are eight teams. Where will the next round be adjusted. What is certain is that October 29, BIGB will be used for jet planes. Tomorrow I will go to BIJB to coordinate," he said.
