Unud Chancellor Of Corruption Suspects Sent To Kerobokan Prison

The Bali High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has detained the Chancellor of Udayana University (Unud) Bali, Prof. I Nyoman Gde Antara with three other suspects with the initials IKB, IMY and NPS.

The three of them are suspects in the alleged corruption case of the Institutional Donation Fund (SPI) for new students for the 2018-2022 Independent Line selection.

Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasi Penkum) of the Bali Prosecutor's Office, Putu Agus Eka Sabana Putra, said the four suspects were immediately detained at the Class IIA Kerobokan Correctional Institution (Lapas), Bali.

"Therefore, starting today, investigators will detain the suspects for the next 20 days to be placed in Kerobokan Prison," said Eka Sabana, Monday, October 9.

The Bali Attorney General's Office summoned the suspects with separate files between the other three suspects and the Unud Bali Chancellor.

"Today, the investigation has just been completed to complete the investigation file. Where the INGA suspect (Unud Chancellor) was examined the second time today. Meanwhile, three other suspects were examined to complete the instructions from the investigating prosecutor in the first file," he added.
