Sowan To Religious Leaders In Malang Raya, Anies-Cak Imin Introduces Indonesia's Mission To Be More Fair

JAKARTA - The pair who will be presidential and vice presidential candidates Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin meet religious leaders in the Malang Raya area, East Java (East Java). The duet carried by the Change Coalition conveyed its mission for Indonesia's future.

"We have met so many kiai here, and we convey what is our mission, namely we want to bring a fairer Indonesia," said Anies during a visit to the Asy-Syadzili Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) in Pakis District, Malang Regency, Sunday, October 8, which was confiscated by Antara.

Anies explained that a fairer Indonesia includes equality and opportunities that can be obtained by the community. In addition, the Islamic boarding school in Indonesia is expected to get greater attention from the government.

With the greater attention from the government, he continued, the quality of education and teaching at the Islamic boarding school can improve in quality.

"We want the community to get equality and opportunity. We also convey that Islamic boarding schools need to get greater attention from the government so that the quality of education, teaching can increase, so that there is equality," he said.

Meanwhile, Cak Imin added that the kiai who attended the meeting stated that they would give full support to him and Anies Baswedan, to contest the 2024 General Election.

"The kiai throughout Malang Raya give their full blessing and support to the AMIN (Anies-Muhaimin) pair. The tagline from Malang was agreed, from Santri and Kiai to all groups.' That AMIN is working hard for all levels and groups," he said.
