JAKARTA - Citilink airline opened flight routes from Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (Bizam) Central Lombok to Sultan Salahuddin Bima Airport, West Nusa Tenggara, round-trip. The inaugural flight of the route on Saturday was attended by Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Anwar Usman accompanied by his wife, Idayati and Acting Governor of NTB Lalu Gita Ariadi from Bizam to Sultan Salahuddin Airport Bima. Acting Governor of NTB Lalu Gita Ariadi said the presence of Citilink serves the higher mobility of the people of Bima Regency, Bima City and Dompu Regency. "In the future, it can have a good impact on the regional economy," he said in a written statement that Citilink was received in Mataram, Antara, Sunday, October 8. Meanwhile, for tourism development purposes, continued the Acting Governor of NTB, currently efforts are being made to open the Citilink Bima flight route to Labuan Bajo West Manggarai, NTT. "For tourism development purposes, Citilink flights from Bima to Labuan Bajo are also being carried out, West Manggarai, NTT," he said. Meanwhile, the Acting Mayor of Bima, Muhammad Rum expressed his gratitude for the presence of Citilink airline at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport Bima. "The presence of this Citilink aircraft is a promising first step. Of course we all hope to provide great benefits for Bima and Dompu," he said. In addition, Rum sees the presence of Citilink opening up many opportunities in various sectors.
