Sandiaga: Strict Enforcement To Caucasians In Bali Increases Tourist Visits

BADUNG - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno emphasized that naughty foreigners or acting in Bali must be dealt with firmly.

"We must firmly convey that Indonesian tourism, especially in Bali, is tourism based on local culture, dignified, sustainable, quality, and culture. So I emphasize that that's what we have conveyed," said Sandiaga, Friday, October 6.

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has coordinated with the authorities to take firm action against foreign tourists acting in Bali. It also claims that the prosecution of rogue tourists in Bali has received appreciation from many parties. The number of tourist visits is actually high.

"We have coordinated law enforcement officials to be firm but polite in conveying regulations, including cultural wisdom and local wisdom of the Balinese people," he said.
