Attorney General's Office Extends Dadan Hindayana et al. 40 Days in the MBG Corruption Case

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has extended the detention of three suspects in the alleged corruption case of the free nutritious meal (MBG) program management at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the period 2025-2026. The three, namely former BGN leaders Dadan Hindayana (DH), Sony Sonjaya (SS), and Lodewyk Pusung (LP).

"It has been extended," said the Head of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, to reporters, Thursday, June 25.

The trial of Dadan and his friends was extended for another 40 days starting June 23, 2026, for the needs of the investigation. Investigators are currently still focusing on strengthening the evidence of the case.

In this case, the Attorney General's Office initially named former BGN Chairman Dadan Hindayana and his two deputies, Lodewyk Pusung (LP), and Sony Sonjaya as suspects in the alleged corruption of the MBG program management.

Investigators then developed and arrested new suspects in this case. They are private, Asep Yusuf Soemantri (AYS), commissioner of PT YAT, Andri Mulyono (AM); and Chairman of the Indonesia Food Security Review Foundation (IFSR), Glory Harimas Sihombing (GHS).

The Attorney General's Office suspects that there is state loss due to illegal acts in this case. The allegations highlighted by the Attorney General's Office include those related to mark-ups in the procurement process and in the provision of incentives to foundations as partners of the nutrition fulfillment service unit (SPPG).
