JAKARTA - PT. MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) through its SPIN Pay business unit encourages the public to make non-cash transactions during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is still happening today.

The daughter of conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo said, the pandemic that has hit Indonesia for more than one year has an impact on everyone, including the government, businessmen, and the lower middle class. In order to continue to survive, many people have flocked to open new businesses, from micro to large businesses.

Based on data from the Ministry of Cooperation and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM), the number of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has reached 64.2 million and is able to absorb more than 116.9 million workers.

Even so, the COVID-19 pandemic caused a huge economic shock in all countries in the world, as well as for Indonesia, which continues to experience economic decline. The growth of MSMEs during this pandemic certainly has an important role for economic growth in Indonesia.
