The Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri has taken over the handling of cases of finding 12 firearms (senpi) at the official residence of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
The dozens of guns were originally confiscated from searches carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"The investigation is currently being handled by the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Tuesday, October 3.
Currently, dozens of senpi are under the control of the National Police's Baintelkam. Later, it will be matched with the existing data.
