3 Bodies Of KKB Papuan Bintang Mountains Identified

JAYAPURA - Head of Information for the Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) III Col. CZI IGN Suriastawa admitted that currently only three of the five bodies of the armed criminal group (KKB) of the XXV Bintang Timur Bintang Timur Bintung Bintang were identified.

"It is true from the reports obtained that only three bodies were identified at the Oksibil Hospital, the capital city of Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains," said Col. CZI IGN Suriastawa, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 2.

The bodies that have been identified are Jen Aloka Taplo alias Dodi, Anton Kalakmabin and Andarias Mimin.

Of the three KKB people who have been identified, one person is on the KKB list that the security forces are looking for, namely Jen Aloka Taplo alias Dodi who was previously a member of the KKB Kodap XXV Bintang Timur led by shot Mimin is a member of the Ngalum Kupel Kodap XV led by Lamek Alepki Taplo.

"Jen Aloka Taplo was involved in the shooting, burning public facilities and killing of nurses in Kiwirok District in September 2021, and was involved in the murder of a motorcycle taxi driver in Mangabib Village, Oksebang District on December 6, 2022, as well as the shooting and burning of public facilities in Oksibil District last January," he explained.

The five KKB members died during a shootout with members of the TNI-Polri in Serambakon District Modusit Village, Saturday (30/9).

The joint TNI-Polri team also secured three firearms and two of them were long-barreled and a gun and hundreds of ammunition.

"Currently, both Serambakon District and Oksibil District have returned to conducive condition and community activities are running normally," said Col. Czi IGN Suriastawa.
