Police Arrest Drug Gembong Network Fredy Pratama In Palembang

The Lampung Regional Police's Narcotics Directorate arrested a suspect in the Fredy Pratama network narcotics in Palembang, South Sumatra (Sumsel).

"The arrest of the suspect is the development of the Fredy Pratama narcotics network case in the Palembang City area, South Sumatra," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Pol Umi Fadillah, in his official statement, in Bandar Lampung, Monday, October 2, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that on Thursday, September 28, based on the development of suspect K's case in the drug money laundering case, a blue Toyota Hardtop type car that had turned gray at Jalan Netar Jaya, Sukerejo Village, East Ilir District, Palembang, belonging to suspect K.

Then, he said, the team again carried out developments in Palembang as a result of the MN suspect case and managed to arrest MBS (25), at the Shopee Express Warehouse office located at Jl Resident H. Najamuddin, Sukamaju Village, Sako District, Palembang City.

"The role of the suspect is to be a courier carrying narcotics type methamphetamine from the Fredy Pratama network four times, namely that in January 2021 methamphetamine was taken from the Pekan Baru area and delivered the narcotics to Surabaya based on orders from SR alias Davidson with DPO status," he said.

Umi Fadillah explained that the total amount of methamphetamine was 62 kg.

The evidence that was secured was two BCA Platinum ATMs, a blue realme cellphone, a body pack bag, a Hardtop car belonging to Kalhadap Bin Alyus Abdi, a house unit located at Citra Grad City Block A 02 Jl Bypas Alang Alang Lebar Palembang City.

For his actions, the suspect violated Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 subsidiary Article 137 and Article 136 of Law.RI Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics with the threat of the death penalty.
