PONOROGO 1 Ponorogo SMPN, East Java, revealed a number of reasons for withdrawing donations of Rp. 1.68 million to class VII students. The donation money includes buying the Toyota Innova. There is a reason why you have to buy the Toyota Innova.

Kepala SMPN 1 Ponorogo, Imam Mujahid, mengatakan, pembelian Toyota Innova buatan 2018 senilai Rp 240 juta karena mobil operasional sekolah yang ada saat ini sering turun. Oleh karena itu, sekolah ber intendan mengganti mobil yang ada sekarang. Mobil ini akan dijual Rp 45 juta.

"The car has been around for a long time, until yesterday there was an OSIS activity, it broke down repeatedly in Sarangan, it couldn't be pushed back. So maybe it (the new car) can be useful for children's activities which are intended to improve the quality of the school, especially competitions," said Imam, Monday, October 2.

In addition to purchasing cars, withdrawal of donations is also used to buy 34 units of computer equipment, worth IDR 5.7 per unit.

Imam reasoned that the purchase of this computer was made to upgrade and improve the quality of students in learning.

"The current computer has been around for a long time, the children now understand all the computers, so we are upgrading through the school committee," said Imam.

The purchase of a number of musical instruments is also used to support student activities at school. This is because a number of existing musical instruments have been carried out several patchworks, so they cannot be optimal if used for student and school activities.

For the purchase of musical instruments alone, SMPN 1 Ponorogo had to collect a donation of Rp 94 million. These funds were used to purchase RGX Yamaha 121 Z electric guitar, Ibanez GSR 2508 bass brand, Yamaha 5 Piece Stage Custom Original acoustic drum, Line G Pod60 Guitar guitar effect, Yamaha PSr's 975 keyboard, Marshal jcm 900 guitar backsound amplifier, guitar cable, bass cable, and amplifier cable.

"All the musical instruments have been around for a long time, so they don't play, maybe they will still be patchy too, but we are also looking for something recently," said Imam.

The levy is a contribution to the development and improvement of the quality of schools (SPMS).
