Receive 2 Land Certificates For The Chairman Of BUMDes Regarding The Corruption Of Sumbawa Farmer KUR Funds, The Prosecutor's Office Makes Evidence Complete

NTB - Investigators of the Sumbawa District Attorney's Office (Kejari) received a land certificate from the head of a village-owned enterprise (BUMDes) related to the alleged corruption case in the distribution of people's business credit funds (KUR) to one of the state-owned banks.

Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Sumbawa Kejari, Indra Zulkarnaen, said that the two land certificates belonging to the chairman of BUMDes would be used as completeness of confiscated evidence in this case.

"Yes, there are two land certificates that we received from the chairman of BUMDes. From the results of the examination of the rights, this certificate really belongs to the chairman of BUMDes," he said in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Tuesday, September 26, which was confiscated by Antara.

From the confession of the chairman of BUMDes, he said, the certified land was the result of the purchase of deductions from KUR funds for dozens of farmers worth Rp3.1 billion. In addition to buying two plots of land, the rest is for personal needs.

"So, he (the chairman of BUMDes) admitted to buying two plots of land from KUR money. So, we confiscated the two certificates," he said.

In this case, the BUMDes oversees the application for farmers' credit from three villages in Moyo Hulu District, Sumbawa Regency, in 2022.

"This BUMDes is a submission facilitator. He oversees the submission of farmers from three villages in Moyo Hulu District, namely Brang Rea, Marga Karya, and Semamung with 68 KUR recipients," he said.

The confession of the chairman of BUMDes was also strengthened by the results of the examination of the farmers who received credit loans.

In a series of investigations, he said, there were at least 64 farmers who were examined as witnesses, namely 46 people from Brang Rea Village, eight people from Semamung Village, and 10 people from Marga Karya Village.

"Today, 10 people were examined from Marga Karya," he said.

From the results of the examination by farmers, it was revealed that there was an acknowledgment that credit loan money was only received worth Rp. 4 million from credit disbursement of Rp. 50 million.

Even though there has been this information, Indra said that the handling of this case is still ongoing at the general investigation stage.

"We are still investigating the public, we have not named a suspect. Maybe in the near future," said Indra.
