Infrastructure Projects Starting To Be Built At IKN, From Hotels To Hospitals

YOGYAKARTA A series of infrastructure projects that have begun to be built at IKN are interesting to discuss. As is known, the Government continues to boost the development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) including various supporting infrastructures. In fact, some of the projects are almost complete.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) himself has laid the first stone or groundbreaking in several infrastructures at IKN Nusantara. In the groundbreaking, the President also invited ministers to public figures. Apart from this, there are several projects that are being built, namely as follows.

1. Hotel

One of the private projects that has been laid by the first stone at IKN Nusantara is the hotel. After the Nusantara Hotel, there is also the Vasanta Hotel. This means that at IKN Nusantara, there are already two hotels that will be ready to accommodate guests.

It should be noted that Hotel Nusantara is the first five-star hotel to be built at IKN. The project comes from the investment of a consortium of 9 private companies in the country.

Meanwhile, the Vasanta Hotel is a four-star hotel in IKN which will be built on an area of 0.7 hectares at the KIPP 1A location.

3. Training Center of the National Team

President Jokowi has also carried out the groundbreaking of the National Training Center for the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) on Friday, September 22, 2023. He considered that the Training Center at IKN was part of the nation's investment towards the achievements of the Indonesian national team.

"I am sure, I am optimistic that I will be able to bring and witness our Garuda, our national team will not only win in Southeast Asia, but will soon be worldwide," Jokowi said in the Groundbreaking National Training Center IKN agenda broadcast from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube in Jakarta, Friday quoted from Antara.

The National Training Center in IKN was established on an area of 34.5 hectares with eight fields and various other supporting facilities integrated with IKN development.

3. Recreational place

The President explained that in IKN there will also be recreation areas in the form of zoos such as safari parks. Construction itself will soon be built.

"Last night we also talked about the safari park and others that will soon start in the capital city of the archipelago," said the President.

4. Government building

In IKN, government buildings are also being built. The buildings include the Presidential Palace building, the presidential office, the Presidential Secretariat, and several buildings that are the Office of the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko).

5. Private Hospital

At IKN, an Abdi Waluyo hospital was also built. This private project has held a Groundbreaking on Friday, September 22, 2023. The hospital became the first hospital in IKN. Meanwhile, the investment value of Abdi Waluyo Hospital alone reached IDR 2 trillion with various facilities including hundreds of rooms.

In the early stages, the hospital will be built on an area of 5,000 square meters with 5 floors. In addition, in the future, Abdi Waluyo Hospital will also support all programs for Indonesian athletes.
