DPRD Asks Halmahera Regency Government To Focus On Paying Off IDR 200 Billion Debt And Delaying P3K Revenue

TERNATE - DPRD of North Halmahera Regency, North Maluku, asked the local government to focus on completing debt arrears reaching more than Rp200 billion and not prioritizing programs that are not important for infrastructure development. "We institutionally request to focus on completing the debt reaching Rp200 billion and not add programs that can drain the regional budget, one of which is the acceptance of Government Employees with a Work Agreement (P3K)," said Chairman of the North Halmahera Regency DPRD Janlis Gihenua Kitong quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, September 24. He said the policy of the Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) North Halmahera Oni Hendrik, which opens the stage of P3K revenue registration has been rejected by the DPRD and this has not been followed up from the relevant agencies for the postponement of the selection.
