Kim Jong-un Sends Letter To Xi Jinping, Affirms Commitment To North Korea-China Friendship

JAKARTA - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reiterated his commitment to increasing close cooperation with Beijing in line with the "new era demands".

Based on a report by Central Korean News (KCNA) reported by Antara on Sunday, September 24, the affirmation was made by Kim Jong-un by sending a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In the letter, Kim also congratulated North Korea on the 75th anniversary of the country's founding

Kim also expressed his confidence that North Korea-China will continue to increase solidarity and cooperation.

The friendly relationship between North Korea and China will continue to grow according to the demands of the new era.

China is widely believed to have a significant influence on its neighboring countries, namely North Korea or the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The DPRK has long relied on China's diplomatic support and economic assistance.
