New Johar Brawl Mastermind Arrested, Positive For Drugs

Central Jakarta Metro Police managed to arrest three perpetrators involved in the Johar Baru brawl, Central Jakarta. The three of them are known to be positive for using methamphetamine.

"Yes, it is true that our members have arrested three perpetrators of the Johar Baru brawl. Everything after being tested for drugs, their urine was positive for methamphetamine," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin when confirmed, Friday, September 22.

Kombes Komarudin said that the information was that there were also other new perpetrators who had been arrested outside of the other three perpetrators.

The three perpetrators that we arrested after their examination were included in the brains of the brawlers.

"We check on their cellphones there is a conversation between their association gangs," he said.

Kombes Komarudin said that his party also deployed 120 officers in conducting a sweep at the location where the brawl occurred.

Reportedly, a brawl between two groups of residents in front of the Banua Niha Keriso Protestant (BNKP) church, Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru, RW 01, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta, caused two victims of burns.

The two victims were residents of RW 02, they suffered burns to their faces and backs due to hard water.

Head of RT 01/02, Sudaman confirmed that two of his residents were victims of the brawl that occurred.

"There are two of our residents who suffered burns due to strong water splashes," Sudaman told reporters, Thursday, September 21.
