Aceh Provincial Government Helps Imam Masykur's Family Victims Of The Murder Of Paspampres During The Legal Process

ACEH - The Aceh Government through the Aceh Government Liaison Agency (BPPA) in Jakarta facilitated the family of the late Imam Masykur, a victim of abuse by Paspampres personnel, during the legal process in Jakarta. "God willing, during the legal process in Jakarta, the Aceh Government will provide facilities to the family of the late Imam Masykur, especially to his mother, Fauziah," said Head of BPPA Akkar Arafat who was contacted in Banda Aceh, Antara, Wednesday, September 20. Akkar explained that all this was done to make it easier for the family. The Aceh government is committed to continuing to monitor the legal process that is being carried out by the deceased's mother in Jakarta. According to him, the Aceh Government is obliged to provide services to people who need assistance, as has been done for all people from Tanah Rencong. "This is also inseparable from the attention of the Governor of Aceh Achmad Marzuki who continues to encourage his staff to always be open and provide assistance to the people of Aceh," said Akkar. Meanwhile, the mother of the late Imam Masykur, Fauziah when met by the head of BPPA Akkar Arafat thanked the Aceh Government, especially the Acting Governor of Aceh for providing facilities to him. Fauziah said this assistance was very useful for her because during this legal process she was confirmed to often go to Jakarta. "Thank you for providing housing, accommodation and transportation facilities while we are in Jakarta," said Fauziah.

As is known, Acehnese Imam Masykur who worked in Jakarta was previously kidnapped and tortured to death by several people suspected of involving members of the TNI who are now serving in the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres), namely Praka RM. Now the three suspected perpetrators from the military circle have been detained by Pomdam Jaya and are currently in legal proceedings in the TNI.
