JAKARTA - A four-story shophouse in West Jakarta that was used as a liquor manufacturing factory (alcohol) of illegal ciu type was raided by the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Tuesday, September 19.

"It's true, we carried out a raid on a shophouse that was used as a place for making ciu type alcohol," said Tambora Police Chief, Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, September 19, evening.

From the results of the raid, the police confiscated a number of barrels of ciu liquid processing area. The police also confiscated a number of bottles of mineral water containing brandless ciu alcohol in cardboard from the location of the raid.

However, the police have not disclosed the identity of the perpetrator, because it is still in the process of further development.

"As a result of his actions, the perpetrator is suspected of violating Article 204 (1) of the Criminal Code and/or Article 45 and/or Article 64 of the Job Creation Law," he said.
